Throughout the 13 year history of Hyalite Farm all goats have tested negative for CAE, and all goats over 18 months have tested negative for Johne's; all new goats to the farm have tested negative for CL before being released with herd. CAE, CL, and Johne's have never been diagnosed on Hyalite Farm.

Hyalite MQ Ciella

Ciella is two years old, and freshened last year as a yearling with doe/buck twins without any assistance. She is a super sweet doe, and is very easy to handle on the milk stand. Ciella had a promising FF udder with good attachments and good capacity for a yearling. Overall Ciella would make a lovely foundation doe as she carries some promising genetics with Old Mountain Farm on sire's side (including OMF Stag) and both Leisure Time and Lost Valley on dam's side. She is a pretty little dairy goat in her own right and is growing into a competitive doe for the showring!
**Ciella's sire, who recently died at just 3 yrs old from a dog attack, came from a very successful show line. All three of his close relatives have finished their championships.... his twin sister (CH Gabhran Creek French Court), his dam (GCH 5 Fold Farm Princess Poppy 4*M), and his sire (Ch Old Mountain Farm Chevalier) all made quick work of earning their permanent champion status these past few summers!

Sky is a big boned, beautiful, and powerful 4 year old doe. She has some fancy genetics behind her from the Leisure Time and Lost Valley herds. She would have easily earned her milk star if I had put her on milk test during her 2 year old lactation but since I'm selling my herd I haven't participated in performance programs these past few years. Sky is a great mother, and she couldn't be easier to handle on the milk stand. This is as friendly a doe as you will find!
